Deoxys — Defense Forme
This is Deoxys in its Defense Forme — the DNA Pokémon folded into a living fortress. Its body grows bulky and armored, its tentacles thicken into shields, and it becomes one of the hardest Pokémon in existence to take down.
Deoxys is a Psychic-type Mythical Pokémon from the Hoenn region, debuting in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. It can shift between four formes — Normal, Attack, Defense, and Speed — reshaping the mutated space-virus DNA of its body to meet any threat.
Defense Forme is the forme that made Deoxys infamous among competitive players: a wall of alien crystal that could stall out nearly anything. It is the same creature as the sleek Attack Forme — just answering a different question about survival.
This card is Deoxys #033/086 from the Chaos Rising expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, depicting the Defense Forme.
