How We Grade

Every card at Holo Lane is graded by hand, under bright light, before it ever gets listed. No stock photos, no guesswork — the card in the picture is the card you get.

What our grades mean

Near Mint — Straight from pack to sleeve. Sharp corners, clean edges, glossy surface, no scratches or whitening visible under normal light. This is the condition of almost everything we sell.

Lightly Played — You have to look for it. Maybe a tiny edge nick or a faint surface mark visible only when the light catches it. Still crisp, still sleeve-ready.

Moderately Played — Visible wear: softened corners, light scratching, or minor edge whitening. Priced to match. We'll always show the wear in the listing photos.

Heavily Played — Honest wear: creases, heavy whitening, or surface scuffs. We only list these when the card is worth owning anyway, and the price reflects every flaw.

What we check on every card

Corners, edges, surface, and centering — under bright, angled light.

How we pack and ship

Sleeved, sealed in a toploader (or Card Saver for anything over $20), sandwiched in cardboard, shipped in a rigid mailer. Cards don't rattle, bend, or slide around — period.

Our promise

If a card shows up in worse shape than we described it, tell us. We'll make it right — refund, replacement, or partial credit, your call. We'd rather lose a sale than your trust.
