Deoxys — Normal Forme
This is Deoxys in its Normal Forme — the balanced, default shape of the DNA Pokémon. In this forme its crystalline chest organ, which the Pokédex suggests may be its brain, glows at the center of a body built from a mutated space virus exposed to a laser beam.
Deoxys is a Psychic-type Mythical Pokémon from the Hoenn region, debuting in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. It stands 1.7 meters tall and is one of the few Pokémon said to have come from beyond the stars, arriving on Earth rather than evolving here.
Normal Forme is the forme most fans met first — including in the seventh Pokémon movie, Destiny Deoxys, where it descends over LaRousse City and battles Rayquaza in a clash that defined the franchise's cosmic scale.
This card is Deoxys #031/086 from the Chaos Rising expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, depicting the Normal Forme.
